Sophia Isidore ( NYC, USA)

In my practice, I work simulataneously between design, choreography, and installation. I see choreography as a process of design and design as a corporeal practice. I investigate the implications of the body in urban, architectural, and sculptural spaces and the reciprocal implications of these spaces in corporeality. I am interested in using "scoring" and installation to generate systems and circumstances that test spatial and performative hypotheses. I like to create light / funny / sincere / tangible objects that play with the limits of design, sculpture, and performance.
